Nestled in the heart of Point Loma, the San Diego Yacht Club has grown from a small group of boating enthusiasts to a world renowned yachting community. Members have access to competitions, training and racing programs year round.
Not only does the club include boat slips but there are picnic areas, full service dining, tennis courts and a swimming pool. The swimming pool is the perfect spot for members to enjoy the day relaxing or doing laps. The pool deck surface was getting worn and need to be spruced up for Summer guests.
Our team installed Texture-Crete over the existing concrete substrate around the pool and spa are of the club. After power washing to prep the concrete, all cracks were cut and patched to create a level surface. Primer was applied for maximum adhesion of the system followed by several cementitious coats and finally the acrylic topcoat.
The final look is a standard knockdown finish in Rocky Nook, a warm gray color.
